This architectural project envisions the development of a sustainable, inclusive, and adaptable Athlete’s Village in Kuching, Malaysia. With a maximum of 72 housing units, this project aims to address a critical issue: the welfare of athletes in Malaysia, who often face challenges like homelessness or lack of support post retirement. By integrating housing, training, and collaborative spaces, this village fosters intergenerational learning and support, ensuring a fulfilling life journey for athletes at every stage of their career Metabolism architecture allows multigenerational living, where veteran athletes share wisdom and experience with younger ones in a collaborative, co-living environment. Training, mentoring, and personal development spaces are interwoven, fostering a cohesive community that thrives on mutual support.
