As digital libraries become more prevalent, the evolving concept of the library has given rise to ‘The Cosmognosis’—a reimagined space where knowledge unfolds as an immersive journey. This project envisions a futuristic digital library that goes beyond traditional book collections, transforming knowledge into an immersive experience. Derived from the Greek words cosmos (universe) and gnosis (knowledge), Cosmognosis embodies the idea that "gnosis is as vast as the cosmos itself." Inspired by this, the design envisions walls as orbits, spaces as planets, and books as constellations of insight, forming an interconnected universe of knowledge. This tranquil yet inspiring environment turns every visit into a journey through the cosmos. By integrating advanced technology with innovative spatial design, the library becomes a transformative environment that inspires discovery and contemplation. Fluid, dynamic forms reflect its continuous expansion, while exhibition areas, VR pods, and digital reading hubs foster exploration and curiosity. A sleek, durable aesthetic is achieved through terrazzo, marble, ceramic tiles, metal, and matte PVC flooring.
